Things To Do This Weekend In Livingston County

No weekend plans yet?  All is not lost!  Here are a few things to check out around town!

Friends of Cromaine Library Winter Book & Bake Sale.  Beginning TODAY, January 24th at 9:00 AM there will be a book & bake sale all day (or until sold out!) and all day (9 AM to 5 PM) on Friday.  There will be thousands of books and media plus delicious baked goods.  Everyone is welcome.  Hartland Cromaine Library is located at 3688 Hartland Road, Hartland, Michigan, 48353.  There will also be a Bag Sale on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM for teachers and homeschooling parents. First bag is free, additional bags are $5.00.  There will be a $5.00 Bag Sale for everyone on Saturday! And NEW on Sunday — FREE DAY!  All remaining items from the Friends Book Sale in the Community Room are available free for 1 hour. Bring your own boxes and bags!



“Bohemian Rhapsody” Sing-A-Long.  Friday, Jan. 25: 4 p.m., 7 p.m., 9:30 p.m;  Saturday, Jan. 26: Noon, 2:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m; and  Sunday, Jan. 27: 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Historic Howell Theater at 315 East Grand River Avenue.  Come and  show off your vocals!

Lyrics will be shown on screen, and attendees are encouraged to join in with such hits as the movie’s title track, “Don’t Stop Me now,” “We Are the Champions,” and more.

“Arsenic & Old Lace”. 

Friday, January 25th from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.  The Community  Theater of Howell is presenting “Arsenic & Old Lace” at the Howell High School Freshman Campus, 1400 W. Grand River in Howell.  Shows are Jan. 25-27, and Feb. 1-3.  Showtimes are 7:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and and 2 PM on Sundays.  Ticket prices are $13 for adults and $11 for students and seniors, available at Finding Roots in Howell, Maria’s School of Dance in Fowlerville, Big Acre in Brighton, and Ed Bock Feed and Seed in Pinckney. Tickets are also available by calling 517-545-1290.
