    Local Hayrides & Haunted Attractions

    We are past Labor Day, which means it’s officially (or maybe “unofficially!”) hayride/haunted house season!   Metro Detroit has tons of great options for fall festivities.  We are excited to share some of the scheduled events.  Please note that these are subject to change due to COVID.  We recommend calling or checking out their websites before visiting to confirm COVID procedures, pre-pay, and/or make reservations if necessary.

    Hayrides:

    Late August – Early November Daily from 6a-7p
    South Lyon Hayrides – Agri-trainment – Fall Family Fun at Erwin Orchards
    Erwin Orchards Cider Mill (61475 Silver Lake Road, South Lyon, MI, 248-437-0150)
    Erwin Orchards offers wagon rides as part of their daily “Agri-trainment”. Enjoy wagon rides, the corn maze, Mr Bee’s Big 3D Adventure Barn, straw bale maze, sunflower garden, and more. There is even more family fun available on the weekends.

     

    Daily September 1 through the Fall
    Northville Hayrides – Barn Yard Play Land
    (7897 Six Mile Road, Northville, MI 48167, 248-437-8200)
    $5 a family Hayrides take you around the property back to Corn maze and the U-Pick pumpkin patch. You can also reserve evening hayrides to a bonfire. Don’t forget there is also Fall fun for the younger ones. Barn Yard Play Land had modern playground equipment in a fun kids barn, a John Deere trike track, Peter Rabbit bunny village, lots of farm animals, and educational tutorials.

     

    Weekends September 11 – October 25
    Northville Hayrides – Maybury Farm Corn Maze & Hayrides
    Maybury Farm (50165 Eight Mile, Northville, MI 48167, 248-374-0200)
    Hayride & 1 acre corn maze scavenger hunt. Cider, donuts, and snacks available after. Hours – Friday – 5p-9p, Saturday –10a-9p, and Sunday – 10a-7p. Cost is $10. These are rain or shine events. Children 2 and under are FREE. For more information, call 248-374-0200. Weekends through October 25. Due to Covid restrictions you must PRE-REGISTER AND PREPAY.

     

    Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 7:30p-9p
    Rochester Hills Hayrides – Hoot N’ Howl Hayride
    Bloomer Park (375 John R Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309)
    Join park staff at Bloomer Park for a hayride to search for nocturnal animal activity. Enjoy a campfire, cider and donuts following the hayride. $7 per person.

    Holly Haunted Attraction – Rotten Manor Haunted House & Haunted Forest

    Rotten Manor Description – “Two full 35-45 minute attractions, Rotten Manor, and Rotten Asylum/ Forest. Boasting the largest, most realistic custom structures of any attraction in Michigan, Rotten manor is a highly-detailed, theatrical, and immersive experience in fear”.

    Haunted Blake’s Halloween Dates – Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays only beginning September 18 through the end of October.
    Haunted Blake’s Halloween Prices – Several ticket packages available at varying prices.
    Haunted Blake’s Halloween Description – Blake’s Haunted Halloween features “Spookyland”, “Haunted 3-story Barn, “Spookyland”, “Zombie Paintball Safari Haunted Hayrides” and more. Not recommended for young children. Haunted Blake’s is very popular. Live DJ entertainment on Saturdays and food and drink to purchase. Haunted Barn won’t be operational for 2020.

    Night of Terrors Dates – Fridays and Saturdays from 7:15p-10p for September dates (19,25,26) and from 7:15p-11:30p for October Dates (2,3,9,10,11,16,17,18,23,24,25,30,31) Halloween Night PLUS November 1 from 7:15p-10p.
    Night of Terrors Description – 6 Haunted Attractions in 1 location. Haunted Attractions include Splattertown Haunted Paintball, Ultimate Haunted Barn, The Asylum, The Mind Shaft, Hayride of the Lost, and Alien Caged Clowns. Wiard’s Night of Terroris designed to scare adults and children under 10 years old are not recommended. Children over 10 must accompanied by an adult. “89 acres of terror”.

     

    Pontiac Haunted House – Haunted Erebus

    Haunted Erebus Dates – September 13,14,20,21,27,28, October 3,4,5,6,10,11,12,13,16,17,18,19,20,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31 November 1,2 (6-11p Sundays, 7:30p-10:30p Mondays through Thursdays, 6p-1a Fridays and Saturdays)
    Haunted Erebus Description – The Haunted Erebus 4-Story Haunted Attraction returns. With over 60 years of haunting experience, the Terebus brothers have made Erebus one of the top haunted attractions in Michigan.

     

    Rochester Haunted Attraction – Rochester Jaycees Tunnel of Terror
    Tunnel of Terror at Rochester Municipal Park (400 Sixth Street, Rochester, Michigan 48307)
    Tunnel of Terror Dates – October Friday and Saturday evenings (7:30p-10:30p) starting Oct 11
    Tunnel of Terror Description – “Coil through seemingly endless pitch black corridors with mayhem and madness lurking around every corner. Push the limits of your psyche and put your phobias to the ultimate test through the maze of darkness and horror”

    Armada Halloween Fun for Kids – Blake’s Cider Mill Funland

    Kids can enjoy hayrides, trike track, straw mountain, corn mazes, Bunnyville farm, a petting farm, and many Halloween attractions every day in September and October! You can have the kids check out the Spookyland Haunted Barn in broad daylight to see what it looks like when there aren’t any scary actors inside.

     

    Daily September 4 through the Fall
