Area Schools Prepare to Celebrate Homecoming

Every high school deserves a big turnout for their homecoming game!  Come out and cheer on your favorite local team during their big game, attend a parade, and if you are a student, don’t miss out on the homecoming dance!  Check out our list of dates for the various schools in our area!


South Lyon’s Homecoming is this weekend, Oct. 4th-5th.  The Lion’s football team will take on Mott High School (Waterford) at 7 p.m. Friday night.  Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Howell’s Homecoming is also this weekend.  The Powder Puff games will be held Wed, Oct. 2nd, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The Homecoming Parade will begin at 5 p.m. at N. National Street and head west down Grand River, ending at Center Street on Friday, Oct. 4th.  The Highlander’s football team will take on the  Salem Rocks at 7 p.m.  The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5th.

Milford is also celebrating Homecoming this weekend.  Football game will be on Friday, Oct. 4th and Homecoming dance on Oct. 5th.

Hartland’s Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 11th-12th.  The Eagles will be taking on Novi High School Friday at 7 p.m. with fireworks to follow!  The dance will be held from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday the 12th.

Fenton High School’s Homecoming festivities begin with the Powder Puff game on Monday, Oct. 7th at 7 p.m.  The parade will be Friday, Oct 11th at 5 p.m. with the football game to follow, against Flushing.  The Homecoming dance is Saturday, Oct. 12th from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Brighton High School’s Homecoming will kick off with a parade on Oct. 18th at 4:30 p.m.  The Bulldogs will be fighting for a win against Howell High School, starting at 7 p.m.  Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19th at 8 p.m.
